Accessibility
Accessibility is at the heart of my work, and this website aims to be an example of it. I want everyone to be able to use it, whatever way they access it.
Commitment
This website aims to meet, as a minimum, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What has been done
- Pages have a clear structure: ordered headings, landmarks and a link to skip straight to the content.
- Everything can be used with a keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
- Text has a contrast ratio of at least 5.8:1 (13:1 for the main text).
- Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on screens 320 pixels wide, without horizontal scrolling.
- The website respects the system’s dark mode and reduced-motion settings.
- Every page states its language, as do titles written in other languages, so that screen readers pronounce them correctly.
- Roman numerals are decorative: screen readers announce chapters with ordinary numbers.
- No part of the website needs JavaScript.
- The CV can be read as a web page and as a tagged PDF.
How it has been tested
Each version is checked with the automated tool axe-core, in light and dark mode; it is navigated with the keyboard and checked when zoomed and on narrow screens. Automated tools do not catch everything: tests with screen readers (NVDA and VoiceOver) and with people with disabilities are still to come, and will take place soon.
Known limitations
- The linked videos are on external platforms, such as 3Cat or YouTube, and their accessibility does not depend on this website.
- Some linked publications are in external repositories.
If you find a problem
If something does not work for you or is hard to use, tell me: let me know which page it was and what happened. It will help me improve it.
